GSC is a well-established consultancy concentrating on Education (training and consultancy), Marketing and Business Development, led by Kathryn and George Solly.
Three distinct sectors are covered by GSC – Education, Not-for-Profit and Business Development.
Education
Kathryn employs her 35 years teaching experience in nursery, primary secondary and tertiary education sectors to advise, train and motivate.
Kathryn is an inspirational keynote speaker and trainer, specialising in the Early Years. Kathryn trains and speaks both here and overseas covering a broad range of subjects.
Kathryn also offers consultancy services for schools and settings on outdoor play planning; creating a vision and ethos; establishing a culture of inclusion and diversity; developing outstanding leadership; partnership and collaborative working and business and community connectivity.
Kathryn is a Froebel travelling tutor and draws on her considerable experience as a head teacher, Ofsted inspector and trainer to provide a holistic approach to problem-solving consultancy.
Kathryn is lead consultant with husband George who specialises in educational research, planning and marketing as well as advising charities, trusts, Community Interest Companies (CIO’s) and Charitable Incorporated Companies (CIC’s).
George specialises in educational research, planning and marketing as well as advising charities, associations, and trusts. He has assisted private and state schools and settings across all phases of education from early years to secondary.
George is currently assisting Early Childhood Forum on media and communications.
Past clients include Early Excellence, British Association for Early Childhood Education (Early Education), Keeping Early Years Unique (KEYU), St. Edwards School and Queen Anne’s.
Third Sector
In the Third Sector, George has over 15 years experience directly managing fundraising strategy and development at hospice, children and international aid charities.
