Kathryn is a keynote speaker, trainer and workshop leader who has presented at many venues both here and aboard.
Kathryn also provides training through organisations such as Early Education and Keeping Early Years Unique as well as independently. She can evolve a training session or course specifically tailored to the needs of your setting or staff.
Working in collaboration with other specialists, Kathryn provides training on a broad spectrum of Early Years topics, fine-tuned to your specific training or CPD needs. Kathryn’s bookings for the 2023-24 academic year included: Isle of Wight (LA) , Isleworth (LA) and Belfast NI Early Years Conference (E.Ed.). During 2024, Kathryn has held courses at Newbury, and Isle of Wight, with more planned for locations in the South of England.
At some of these events or venues where Kathryn is training they are open to practitioners on application and subject to availability.

Overview:
This webinar will give you the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of taking the unique young child outdoors and managing the challenges that their uniqueness may present in terms of your practice and pedagogy.
Aims:
• To establish the importance and right of including every child outside through developmentally appropriate play and learning experiences.
• To consider how to risk benefit assess for unique needs and disabilities.
• To gain some ideas of practical experiences and opportunities outdoors.

This webinar is aimed at folk who provide some opportunities for young children from birth to 6 outdoors but wish to gain further ideas and greater confidence in the leadership of these and other experiences. It will include research, ideas, opportunities to learn more about pedagogy, practice and curriculum outdoors.

• To share ideas about the possibilities of play and learning outdoors.
